1). Corey Anderson – New Zealand all rounder Corey Anderson has made history in the cricket worl. In 1996 Afridi was the man who made fastest century in just 37 balls against Sri Lanka.
This record stood for 17 years and finally it is broken by New Zealand all rounder Corey Anderson who have made it in just 36 balls which includes 14 sixes. He is now on no.1 spot in the list of fastest ODI centuries.
2). Shahid Afridi – A most dangerous player of Pakistan who holds the no. 1 spot of hitting fastest ODI century. It was his first knock in just 37 balls with 11 sixes and 6 fours. He has made this record against Sri Lanka in 1996.
3). Mark Boucher – A Wicket keeper from South Africa. He holds second spot of hitting fastest ODI century. He hit this ton that time when South Africa was in good condition. He hit this century in just 44 balls with 10 sixes and 8 fours against Zimbabwe in 2006.
4). Brian Lara – He is not a hard hitter as Shahid Afridi or calm as Sachin Tendulkar but still he holds the record of fastest ODI century in cricket history. He made this ton in just 45 balls with 4 sixes and 18 fours against Bangladesh in 1999
5). Sahid Afridi – After 9 years once again he made it but this time he took 45 balls to hit the century which includes 9 sixes and 10 fours. This ton he made against India in 2005.
7). Kevin O’Brien – He is not so famous but still he has proved himself by hitting the world’s 6th fastest one day international century against England in World cup 2011. He faced only 50 which includes 6 sixes and 13 fours. After hitting this century he became famous and new rising star in cricket history.
8). Virat Kohli – Recently at Jaipur on 16 Oct 2013, He scored 100 in only 52 balls against Australia. This was the fastest 100 by an Indian cricket. Before it was Virendra Sehwag who hit the fastest century by an Indian in 60 balls. It was 7th fastest ODI century in the history of cricket.
9). Shahid Afridi – Oh my God once again he made it. Unbelievable! How a great player he is? This time he made his ton against Bangladesh in 2010. He faced only 53 balls which includes 4 awesome sixes and 17 fours.
10). Sanath Jayasuriya – Now it is the turn of Sanath Jayasuriya who once again hit century against Bangladesh at Karachi in 2008. It was the 9th fastest ODI century in the cricket history.
